How does it work?

When you have found the item you are looking for, click on a purchase button; usually . If the item comes in a in a a range of options there will be a drop down box beside this button for you to make your choice before clicking.

This will open your shopping basket, which will keep a track of your intended purchases. This works exactly like a basket you might carry around our shop (only without the arm-ache!). You can review, change or cancel things in the basket at any time by clicking on the button which you will find on all pages. The basket will show you how much you are spending, and also tells you the delivery charge as you go.

When you have selected everything that you want, click on the button in the shopping basket (click on a "view basket" button if you can't see it). You will now be taken to a form for you to enter your details, including a separate delivery address if it helps. We require an email address (which you enter twice, to ensure it is correct) and a telephone number (just in case anything goes wrong).

If you have a PayPal account, you may choose to pay through that. You will be taken straight to a PayPal form for you to complete as usual. Failing that, you can complete your "purchase" noting your order number and call us with a card.

If you would prefer to pay by post using a cheque, click on the appropriate button and the system will inform us of the order, confirm it with you by email, and offer to print an invoice. When you send the payment, be sure to include a copy of the invoice or the confirmation email. You can also ring at this stage to pay by card over the phone.

What happens next?

We will process the order and process the payment. Your goods should drop through your door in around three to five working days - sometimes much quicker. Everything is covered by guarantees, just as if you purchased it over the counter in a local store. If there is any problem, just ring us and we will sort it out quickly.

Is it safe and secure?	Yes! Well it is as safe as any other method. The security system is very safe and problems are extremely rare. However, nothing is absolutely secure; generally you are more secure using this online system than carrying your credit card around town with you. There are also insurances and guarantees built into the system to ensure that things can be put right quickly should anything go wrong.
Can you take money without my permission?	No. Like any card transaction, we can only use the information you supply to charge you for the amount agreed.
What if the item is out of stock?	We try to ensure we only offer online purchasing for items where we have plenty of stock, but there was that day when one person bought our entire stock of swanee whistles! If we can not complete the order according to your wishes, for any reason, we will contact you immediately. You can choose an alternative item, to wait, or cancel the order and we will arrange a refund
Does it cost anything extra?	No. All the costs are clearly stated to you as you place the order.
When can I do this?	Whenever you want! MelodyWorks.com is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can even shop on Christmas day if you wish, MelodyWorks will process the order and send your goods on the next available working day. Many people choose to do their eShopping late in the evening when they have had time to consider what they want.
