This large bore trombone is ideally suited to someone who is looking for a deeper, louder instrument to improve their tone, and projection.  The .547" bore (13.9mm) is the same as most professional instruments, such as the Conn 8H, King 4B and the Bach 42, and makes it exceptionally free blowing.  We should also mention that, when you really need to let rip, this is a seriously loud trombone, but thanks to well proportioned 8 1/2" bell it can play smoothly when very quiet too!
The inner slide is chrome plated for a smooth, long-lasting action.  With a smart lacquer finish and a fitted hard ABS case, it represents great value; there is even a decent mouthpiece included!

Buying advice
This is a great instrument for an older beginner  (adult or 16+) who wants something a bit more meaty than the standard small bore instruments.  It is also great for a more experienced lead trombone player wanting something with a bit more depth for modern show playing.

All our trombones have the slide set up by a professional trombone player to ensure that they play straight away.  The instrument is closely inspected, lead pipes are hand finished, if needed, and the instrument is given a test blow.  If our expert can't make it play well, we won't send it.
