The single ply industry standard G1 blends warmth sustain and articulation. The Genera weight film ensures that the G1 is both durable and expressive.

Evans say: "Just breathe on the G1 and the drum responds! Wide-open, its is your artist's palette, yielding a rainbow of timbres -depending on where and how you touch it".  Well....we're not sure about that but we do think it is a really good standard head offering good sound, strength and value.  If you want a more powerful, fat sound then pay an extra pound per head for the G2.
