Flat rate postage on Evans Drum heads - £1 delivery, any quantity!

 Genera G1 are single-ply general purpose heads. Available in clear and white coated.
Genera G2 are two-ply heads, with a powerful fat sound particularly suited to rock and "loud" playing.  Available in clear and white coated.  G2 skins cost £1 more than the standard G1.
Hydraulic Glass heads have a clear two-ply construction with a layer of oil between the layers.  They have a rich warm tone with very tight resonance. HG skins cost £2 more than the standard G2.
Genera Resonant heads are light clear single-ply heads specially designed to bring the best out out of the batter head.  GR skins cost £1 less than the standard G1.  While it is possible to use old batter heads on the bottom of toms, most drummers appreciate the extra quality and tone control from using a specialist resonant head.

Getting the right skin

How to use the Chart:

To determine which head will satisfy your sonic needs, you can use our Sound Spectrum Chart to define your signature sound in terms of tonal colour and sustain. Just use the two axi to pinpoint where you want your sound to be. Slide up and down for bright vs. warm, or right and left for openness vs. focus. Whether wide open and warm like our G1's, or tight and funky like the Hydraulics...it's your choice.
