Heavy Duty Double Bass Drum Pedal

This heavy duty pedal gives quick response, solid construction and excellent adjustability.  The base of the right-hand pedal is a sheet of solid steel, and has two anchor spikes to grip the floor: strength where you really need it! The left-hand pedal is a solid cast frame with twin anchor spikes. The reinforced beater holders are separately adjustable, and are balanced by twin single springs and the pull is by sturdy chains. 

The left hand pedal can be easily positioned just where you need it next to the Hi-Hat.  The universal joints on the linking bar transfer the power through to the beater.  The bar is adjustable to get the length and angle just right, and the beater angle can be set to get a balanced sound. 

A pair double sided beaters is included, with a standard hard felt face complimented with a hard plastic face for maximum slap!

Buying Advice
Bear in mind that this a device that is going to be stamped 4 times per second, on average.  As a general rule is good to get the toughest pedal you can, allowing for cost, weight and convenience.
For general use in a standard kit, or when portability is important, the standard pedal is ideal for most players.  Its also great value. 
However, if you are into serious heavy playing, and don't mind the weight and inconvenience of a solid bass plate, then the HD pedal is probably a better buy: more expensive, but still great value.
