Heavy Duty Bass Drum Pedal
This heavy duty pedal gives quick response, solid construction
and excellent adjustability. The base is a sheet of solid steel, and has
two anchor spikes to grip the floor. The sturdy single chain is balanced by an
adjustable single spring, and the beater angle is separately adjustable. A
double sided beater is included, with a standard hard felt face complimented
by an alternative hard plastic face for maximum slap!

Buying Advice
Bear in mind that this a device that is going to be stamped 4 times per
second, on average. As a general rule is good to get the toughest pedal
you can, allowing for cost, weight and convenience.
For general use in a standard kit, or when portability is important, the
standard pedal is ideal for most players.
Its also great value.
However, if you are into serious heavy playing, and don't mind the weight and
inconvenience of a solid bass plate, then the HD pedal is probably a better buy:
more expensive, but still great value.
